The self-contained EPU™ can operate stand-alone without any support at all except a 12 volt cable. Once mounted on the outside rear of the sleeper, the only hookup to the engine compartment is to the alternator output for charging while driving. The EPU™ can be used anytime the truck is parked. Just turn off the diesel engine and from our EPU™ app on your phone, turn on the EPU and dial in your temperature hot or cold. The EPU™ is designed to be used while loading/unloading, or during your resting periods.
